Choreo Nite
Bursting into the competition scene, it has been one of the most awaited event of SAARANG.
CHOREO NITE is now, indisputably, the most prestigious dance competition offering a stage for the most talented college troupes around the country. In the midst of electrifying music, shimmering lights and a huge crowd of thrilled spectators cheering the performers, the ecstatic performances liven up the spirit of SAARANG. “The radiance of the show mesmerizes enough to take one to the seventh heaven”
This time, the competition is categorized into theme and non-theme performances and points are awarded accordingly.
Rules
- 8+2 minutes of time for each group including theme announcement and the stage setup.
- Awarding of points is based on theme, choreography , coordination , costume, and props for theme type and for non theme, it will be on the basis of choreography , coordination , costume, and props.
- Minimum number of students per team 6. Maximum of 25 dancers and two helpers will be allowed inside per group.
- A maximum number of 25 colleges are allowed on a first come first serve basis.
- A deposit of 500rs will be collected at the time of registration and will be returned at the end of the show.
- All teams, at the time of registration, must submit a bonafide certificate with the list of dancers signed by the Dean/Head of that institution.
- No fire or water or heavy objects are allowed on stage. Indecent costumes will not be allowed.
- Lighting facility is to be availed. One person of the group can supervise else it will be up to the lights group.
- Registration is from 9am to 2pm on the day of the event at the hospitality desk.
- A maximum number of 25 colleges are allowed on a first come first serve basis.
- At registration ID cards of all the members, CD of the song/music to be performed and a contact number is to be provided.
- Lottery based slot allotment will be followed. Slots will be announced at the hospitality desk at 4 P.M. at the day of the event. One representative of each group must be present during the slot allotment.
- Any team not ready by the specified time will be disqualified.
- Only one team per college is allowed to participate.
