Fine Arts (Splash)

No civilization has lain claim to true posterity without a rich heritage to keep its name alive. The culture and flavour of any community is an important facet to its identity and we at IIT Madras believe that our rich artistic legacies lay the foundations for each one of us to spread our wings and soar high. Splash is our endeavour to bring to the fore many of India’s truly outstanding forms of art while allowing you do just that- “Have a Splash”. From clay modeling to glass moulding, from collage making to designing Tees, Splash showcases the very reasons why we should regale in our creative moods. Unique to Splash 2006, is the theme of “Roots n Wings”. Each one of the events we plan for this year will imbibe in them our rich heritage in fine arts and will be the launch pad for a plethora events. After all the stronger our roots, the higher we soar…

Registration details: Registration for Fine Arts will be at the Fine Arts stall in Shantikunj itself. Registration for the morning event starts at 8.30 AM and the afternoon event at 12.30 PM. Participants must present their ID cards for registration. All other rules will be displayed at the fine Arts stall.
