Painting

This is the grand old dad of all the events in Fine Arts. Paintings have been there for ages. The oldest known paintings are at the Grotte Chauvet in France, dated at about 32,000 years old. Paintings have mesmerized each and every one of us. From the famous Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci to ‘The scream’ by Edvard Munch, all have captivated mind of young and old alike. Paintings tell a story, a life, a culture that is forgotten. Some of them have a secret to reveal, some have a purpose to serve and some have opinions to share. Depict your ideas and your thought in this delightful event. Express yourself through colours. Bring out the painter in you.

Topics will be announced on the spot
A set of 6 poster colors and a brush each of sizes 2 and 6 will be provided
Painting is to be done on the sheet of paper provided only (size is approximately one-fourth of chart paper)
Sketch pens, Crayons and other pencil colors cannot be used
There is no limit on the number of participants except that the above mentioned material will be provided only to a limited number of participants (say, 60)
Participants are encouraged to get their own sets of colors and brushes
